Angie Guerrero Managing Director of Operations and Fund Management
Angie Guerrero is the Managing Director of Operations and Fund Management at Level Field Partners. She brings extensive experience in all areas of charter school facilities financing including business development, credit underwriting, compliance, fund launch, and lending operations.
Prior to joining Level Field Partners, Angie worked as a consultant in community development finance and higher education. She served as the Vice President of Capital Solutions at Civic Builders; a non-profit real estate developer and lender focused on the launch and growth of the Facilities Investment Fund. Angie created lending and operational policies and processes for the fund’s operations and sourced nearly $350 million in capital that funded 27 loans and 14,000 seats. She gained experience in financial operations and accounting as a Finance Manager at Johnson & Johnson, overseeing a team of four analysts and $74 million operating budget. Angie received formal credit training at Fitch Ratings, where she worked within the Education and Nonprofit team within US Public Finance and led analytic activities for the 28-institution charter school portfolio. Angie started her career as an independent financial advisor in Public Financial Management’s healthcare and higher education practice where she advised on the structure and issuance of $3.5 billion in publicly and privately issued bonds.
Angie is a graduate of Harvard College (AB) and the Stern School of Business at New York University (MBA). She is a founding board member and Treasurer for Valence College Preparatory Charter School in Queens, NY.
